A filmmaker visits his grandmother in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, in hopes of learning more about how tourism has taken a hold of everyday life, for the people and land alike. The film explores the town’s layered relationship with tourism through conversations around labor, water, paradise, and gentrification.
